Gryphon K9 Explosive Detection Kits
The Gryphon K9 Explosives Detection kit is a Canadian-manufactured training aid certified for use by government authorized parties. The kit offers a variety of training solutions for military, law enforcement and airport security units. The kits includes Pelican water-tight hard case(s) with CNC foam inserts and straight sided round glass jars fitted with with Thermoset F217 PTFE lined caps providing no scent transfer.
Refill kits and special requests such as larger quantities are available. Please contact Gryphon Engineering Services directly.
The Gryphon Explosives Detection Kit is available in two(2) configurations for ease of storage. The two(2) options are a single case with all 16 jars contained within or two(2 ) smaller cases each with 8 sample jars.

TADDS® Containment System Accessories
TADD® Jar Connector
Use this piece to join two TADD jars together and create an odor infusion chamber. Place your target odor in Jar 1 and your odor ab/ad-sorption material (filter paper, Getxent tubes, cotton, cloth, toothpicks, gauze, etc.) in Jar 2 to make your own training aids!
NOTE: this is a custom 3-D printed item and will have aesthetic imperfections associated with the printing process. It does not create an air- or water-tight seal and therefore we recommend the use of Parafilm if such a seal is desired.
TADD® Membrane Holder Protection Screen
Made out of a PTFE gasket and a food-grade stainless steel mesh screen, this product will protect your TADD's membrane and the membrane holder from collecting debris during buried hides and make cleanup a breeze!
TADD® Odor Restriction Caps (Set of 5)
The area of each opening increases or decreases by roughly an order of magnitude or factor of 10, excluding “High”. Use these to train your dog down to trace levels of detection. Trace = 2mm, Low = 20mm, Medium = 200mm, High = 500mm, Whole Cap for Blanks
Liquinox Cleaning Concentrate
Part of our scientifically-validated Detection Equipment Cleaning Kit (DECK), this Liquinox Critical Cleaning Liquid Detergent Concentrate is 45 mL PACKED with enough power to fill 10 bottles of 1% cleaning solution spray. This detergent is biodegradable, phosphate-free, interfering-residue free, and most importantly for canine scent detection work, this detergent cleans, removes odor, and does not leave behind an odor when you follow our cleaning protocols.
This item comes shipped in a 50mL stand-up conical tube inside a poly bag with an absorbent material and instructions for making the 1% working solution.

Suggestions:
● Use a sheet of this paper to absorb odor passively ("odor soak"). These training aids can then be hidden, left behind, or cut into 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 pieces.
● I like to put a sheet of Whatman Paper on the top of my membrane holder while my TADD is closed and not in use. Then, when I go to train, I have two training aids, the TADD and an odor soak paper that I can use in another scenario.

Metallized Odor Barrier Bags (15 bags)
Set of 15 anti-contamination, odor-barrier, stand-up bags for TADDs or training aid sample storage. Each bag is made from non-permeable, metallized material with a resealable double ziplock-type opening that can withstand hundreds of re-sealing applications. These bags have a durable bottom gusset that allow them to stand on their own when filled. Colors may vary.
Did you know that many of the mylar odor bags you buy online do not have a metal layer? Without that all important MET PET (Metallized Polyester) layer in between the LDPE (low density polyethylene) and EVOH (ethyl vinyl alcohol), you won't get an odor barrier bag. Etching Pen to Label TADDs
This aluminium etching/engraving pen has a tungsten carbide tip so you can label your TADDs without adding additional odors. The durable carbide tip is able to etch into glass metal, and plastic.
